Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to select the date from Calendar Component at dashboard (built for I-Pad). Unfortunately, it seems that Calendar Component is not supported for Mobile when i check in "Mobile Compatibility" Options, which means i can not use the calendar component provided by the Dashboard Design.
How could i achieve this? Is there any way around for selecting the DATE at Dashboard in I-pad?

I have one report wherein employee data is there. In two of the columns, I have email and phone. Now from the mobile app , I would like to have such a functionality wherein if I click on email address it should take me to the email compose option on my cell phone . Similarly , if I click on phone number it should take me to dial option or address book of my phone.
Can anyone help me on this one??
Please share if you have any documents of code to make this work.

We are trying to create a prototype mobile reports (Web Intelligence) for iPad.
When we tried creating the report from BEx with hierarchy prompt the report is crashing or returns error.
Is it product limitation (or) we need to do any setup changes ?

Our BOXI 3.1 SP5 server is on IBM Unix AIX. Therefore i have to install Mobile server on Windows server and will need configure Mobile server to connect from windows to unix server (dedicated mobile server).
After installing Tomcat and mobile server on windows, i have deployed MileBIService.war, MOBIServer.war and MObileOTA.war.
None of this application allow me to configure which port it should listen to and where it should look for the CMS server (Unix).
Do I miss anything here?
I intend to use Ipad/Iphone not blackberry. Any help is appreciated.

Hi All - we are bursting webi reports in both PDF and Excel formats using publications. These reports are bursted to emails and when the reports are viewed on Ipad the number format of kpi's are lost for Excel fomated reports. PDF format report looks good with no issues.
Did anybody face this issue, please let me know any ideas if you have.

We are on Business Objects 4.0. In a few cases e new users are added to SAP BW roles and those users are not added to the "users and groups" list after we run the users and role update jobs. These jobs are run daily. The result is we can not access BW data via business objects.

We have a requirement to access the dashboards (on SAP BO Mobile App for IPad) via Internet. I need to know weather this IPad App supports "HTTPS" connection in order to create a SECURE Connection to the BOE(which will be configured for HTTPS too).
Does any one have come across such scenario before? Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

I need to build a report having content linking . For eg . I have hierarchy defined as Country-State-District.. So I have 3 reports one for country, one for region and one for distict.
So, on an IPad default view willbe of my country report. By tapping on Country ( for eg USA) it should take me to my State report wherein all states of USA should be displayed . Similarly when I tap on State Name it should take me the report wherein All districts of that states should be displayed.
Let me know if this type of report linking in possible using SAP BI Mobile using iPad.
Wil really appreciate if someone could share methos for doing this.

I have installed a WEB Intelligence report called "Status Reports" and I have put in a mobile mode to access this report on my IPAD app. In the Top of this report appears the name of the report (Status Reports).
how can I avoidthatthe report does notplace thename at the top of the document in the IPAD app.?

And nothing
I recently had to reinstall the SAP BI platforma after I check the mobi.properties and the war file and everything is fine
but i cant connect
the error is the MOB 06031

Crystal Report for Enterprise times out if the run time goes over 1 minute
Webi times out if it goes over 2 minutes.
Has anyone encountered this?
I can't find any settings on CMC > Servers that address this.
The reports run fine on Launch Pad.

I have a webi report on top of a universe (in IDT). Universe contains a date prompt. Does SAP BO MOBILE APP(for IPAD) supports that or not? If not, then what is the possible way around to allow user to select date on ipad for webi report?

I am new to Geomaps with SAP BO Mobile. I am attaching 2 files. one contains webi and one contains output on Ipad. You can see from the webi that i am trying to publish simple Revenue on the basis of 3 cities of Saudia Arabia. Where as in the output the RED CIRCLE is appearing in the SEA instead of appearing in the Riyadh (in Saudia Arabia)
Kindly look into the files and tell me that if i am missing something or doing something wrong. Any help will be appreciated.

Is it possible on the iPad app to have prompts that accept a date and time? The default behaviour seems to just show an IOS date selector with no time.

Can downloaded Webi see off-line by iPad?
The version of Mobile APP is 4.4.18.
It will become the following error if downloaded Webi is chosen by an off-line mode.
"This action cannot be performed. please check network connection."

Im trying to make the poi bubbles appear in different colors based on the measure values. Even though the alert colors are given in webi, it doesnt show up on the geomap bubbles. Does it matter if the doc was created in the rich client or not ?

I am using Webi 4.0 for a GeoMap Analysis on Sap BO Mobi. I am able to create a GeoMap View and Plants are being shown at the right positions. When i click on any POI then its opening a Popup window with a Column Chart.
Problem: When i Tap on a POI (i.e. Plant), then Popup window should display a Column chart for the selected PLANT, whereas, it is showing ALL PLANTS.
Following are the configurations i am using:
Format Table: "map_lt3_lo4_poi1_od2_gp1"
OpenDocument URL: "iDocID=11115&sIDType=CUID&sType=wid&sReportName=Charts&sRefresh=N&sReportPart=EmmissionsChart&lsSPlant="+[Plant]+""
NOTE:
Any Idea what's going wrong? am I missing something?
